I’d heard as much, and now I know it’s true. I… ah, wouldn’t mind seeing your show, if that’s alright with you. (It’ll be interesting seeing Klavier perform on his own; I’ve only seen him sing with the Gavinners previously.)

As you can see, not many posts, that’s because I responded with valentine cards instead!  Hope you all liked them!

It’s been a beautiful day, don’t you guys think?  I hope each one of you gets love somewhere in some form.

About the broken queue…

I’m testing it again today, hopefully it reset itself.

Though I assume I am going to be swamped with Valentine’s related questions!  That’s a good thing!

Still, for the non Valentine’s Day related questions and leftovers in my inbox, they’re in queue now and should pop up around later tonight.

That moment when you're in the hospital, for whatever reason, and you're waiting in the Waiting Room, seated next to a young child, who looks about five, maybe even four. He immediately starts a conversation, and you ask why he's here alone. He responds, "My momma's in with the doctor, she's crying and I don't know why. She's really sick and they tell me she's going away soon but she would never go away, right? She would never abandon me, right?"

Now, I know you probably meant for Klavier to answer this one, but if I may, I want to make a comment about this question.

I want to first applaud you.  I left this question not because I’m busy, but because it has honestly left me..stumped!  It is beautifully orchestrated, and tragic in it’s nature.

This situation is particularly difficult with which to deal; how do you look to an innocent face and explain that something is terribly wrong with their birth giver?  Breaking hard news to children never gets easy, I should know, and they will never understand the impact of mortality until they come of age.

To answer this from my perspective..I honestly would have to turn away.  First of all, as a stranger, it is not in your place to give what the family should be giving.  I believe though that once I got the courage, especially if I saw that he was not receiving such consolation, I would kneel down and assure him that everything would be okay, and that now is the time to be strong, for him, as well as his mother.

Whoever asked this, I thank you.
